The project started in autumn 2014 and will end in August 2016. The first step of the project was to make a quiz about J. A. Comenius to find out how deep the students’ knowledge about this personality is. Then the students made a presentation of each participant school, in order to know the partners better. Presentations of the towns and countries of the participant schools followed. In the course of the project students work on a common Czech-Polish-German-English dictionary containing vocabulary covered in the project, study books by J. A. Comenius and present them to partners. They have also created a logo representing the project, made and sent postcards. They are making a calendar for the school year 2016-17 containing all the partners’ national holidays, important dates connected with the school year in each country and accompanied by pictures taken
throughout the project. At the end of the project another quiz will follow showing the amount of
knowledge gained during the project. A J. A. Comenius map containing places connected to life and
work of J. A. Comenius arisen from visits during the short-term mobilities will be made as well.
The aim of the project is teamwork and cooperation of Czech, Polish and German students associated with the development of personal and social skills. We want to build strong relationships among students and schools that will not end with the end of the project. We want to establish contacts and personal friendships that will last beyond the project.
